A letter to my opponents.

My fellow Iowan,

There are moments in our lives that shape our individual destinies.

There are moments in our lives in which we get to write the best chapters of our history.

Today, many are suffering.

Our neighbors are suffering.

Our children are suffering.

Our grandchildren are suffering.

Our families are suffering.

There is too much anxiety,

too much division,

and at times, too much pain.

Luckily, every day of our lives, we are given a chance to start a new chapter.

As long as there is breath in our lungs, we have a choice.

Today,

we have a chance to choose

Good over evil,

Faith over hopelessness,

Freedom over oppression,

Life over death,

Dignity over the betrayal of the values which make us

good neighbors.

My fellow Iowan,

Today is the day God has made for you and me.

Every minute and every hour of our days,

we have a chance to restore

the essence of who we truly are;

One Nation under God,

Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for all.

Together, we have an opportunity to start anew;

to forgive each other,

to promote unity,

to serve one another;

and to become the model

for other nations and communities to follow.

There are single moments in our lives which shape our individual destinies.

There are moments in our lives in which we get to write the best chapters of our history.

The moments when we choose Love.

I hope that we together;

Choose to Do the Good,

Seek The Truth,

And to Be Mindful of The Beautiful.

And I humbly ask for your vote on November 8, 2022.

With Love of God, Love of family, and duty to my country in mind.

P.S. My opponents are not individual people.

People are my friends and my neighbors;

some who we do not always agree with, but nevertheless respect.

My opponents are those forces that promote division, falsehoods,

disrespect, complacency,

and the deterioration of God given Dignity.
